2008 was such a great festival a resounding success

 

We would like to thank everybody who participated and helped to make 2008 a success

 

 

Watchet Music Festival

August 22-24th

 

 

Watchet Carnival Club presents the 2008

 

Watchet Music festival

 

at

 

The Down, Parsonage Farm, Brendon Road, Watchet.

Supporting

 ”The Children’s Hospice South West“

and the

Local Community.

 

2 stages, with over 20 bands performing over 3 days offering West Somerset the festival experience with stunning views of the Quantocks, the Bristol channel and more!

 

Plus the ”Something Else Tea Tent“, Open Mic, and Cheesy Disco tent & karaoke, Licensed bar selling real ales and ciders, food and craft stalls, and more….

 

 

Friday 22nd gates open at 5pm

 

Main Stage - from 6.30pm. Headlining act ”Material World“ featuring Tasha Leaper one of this country’s top Madonna Tribute acts, plus supporting bands Pondlife and Bag of Rats.

 

Udder Stage: - final ”West Somerset battle of the bands“, featuring the cream of the areas top bands plus a host of DJ’s.

 

Saturday 23rd gates open at 2pm   

 

 

Main Stage - from 4pm live acts including ”The Mangled Wurzels“ CuteLoony, Rough Justice, Jankie Fardel, this country’s most favourite sort after festival band The 3 Daft Monkeys, and headlining The Team featuring Angelo Starr.

 

Udder stage: - a host of DJ’s playing a wide mix of music plus workshops and live music from Jamm Factory, Wilderland, and from London Los Albertos: Ska music with a difference.

 

Sunday 24th Gates open from 4pm

 

Main stage Proms night with the 40 piece Cornish Sinfonia & soloist Suzanne Manuell followed by a Spectacular Firework Finale.

 

Udder stage: - Udder madness with the Twisted disco until midnight!

 

Weekend adult tickets £20, daily tickets from £5.00 in advance and £10 for youth weekend tickets, under 12’s free must be accompanied by an adult.
