Performing at the Festival

2012 Artist Applications have now closed.

We have recieved a fantastic responce again this year, thanksyou to all the acts that have applied we wish we could offer you all a performance spot.

All applications are kept on file and we do revisit submissions year on year to always offer a good mix of music genres.

Watchet LIVE are pleased to announce that they have teamed up with Live and Unsigned as a festival partner to assist in finding quality unsigned acts for Watchet LIVE 2012. Each year Watchet LIVE receives hundreds of artist application requests from unsigned acts from around the region and across the UK applying to play at the festival, but spaces are always limited. So for the 2012 festival, Watchet LIVE are pleased to be working in with the "Live and Unsigned" competition organisors to find acts to play at this popular South West festival.

Acts will be chosen from the Cardiff heats to play at Watchet LIVE next August. More details about Live and Unsigned competitions to win the chance to perform at numerous independant festivals and how to sign up/enter can be found on the following website http://www.liveandunigned.uk.com.

Live and Unsigned have annouced that a fly-on-the-wall documentary series of the competition will be made for SKY TV to be aired next year more details on entering etc click on this link or watch the "youtube" trailer

We are always interested in receiving demo disc from artists and groups who are interested in performing at Watchet LIVE, and we fill up our slots well in advance.

For those interested in performing please send a demo disc and biog to the address below. All disc are kept on file for future events if you are not successful for the next festival,

Market Traders (non catering)

Watchet LIVE welcome Festival related market traders who products reflect the festival excitement along with good service and good quality products.

To trade at Watchet LIVE 2012 the pitch fee's start from £150.00 (inc. vat) including two staff pass, (extra passes can be purchased at £30.00 per person. For a max 3 metre frontage. Traders have a camping area behind their pitch within the festival arena. A 16amp 240v electric can be supplied at an extra cost for lights only for traders stalls at the fee of £25.00 for the duration of the festival.

Average daily attendance is in the region of 2500 per day, with the evenings being the busiest trading times.

Catering Vendors

Catering vendors are requested to email for an application form and trading terms and condition by emailing info@watchetefestival.co.uk with a photograph of your trading unit and a sample menu. Catering pitch fees vary depending on size of pitch and type of food beingh sold/offered. 2012 catering pitch fees will be between £400.00-£800.00 inc VAT for the duration of the festival. Watchet LIVE allow/provide a 16amp power supply per catering pitch,running water is loacted behind the catering area along with waste water containers. Plus new for 2012 a traders shower will be installed in the catering area. Included in the pitch/trading fee and include upto 4 staff passes, further staff passes can be purchased if required
